1. Being trapped indoors with sick children
2. Getting a toddler ready to go somewhere (boots, hat, mittens, scarf, snowpants, coat zipped..."I have to go potty." Plan ahead at least 30 min.
3. The snot in my nose freezing when I step outside.
4. Over-the-top weather reports.
5. Static electricity- When I leave the house with a sock, one pair of underwear and dress shirt stuck to my bottom, things have gotten bad.
6. Neighbors that use their snow-blowers when 1/2 inch of snow has fallen.
7. Driving without windshield fluid. I've learned to drive looking through an opening about the size of a quarter.
8. Cracking skin. I have the rare (or not-so-rare) "Michigan alligator syndrome"
9. Icy roads. Cars are not meant to ice-skate.
10. Putting on 9 layers of clothing to watch T.V. at night..and still having the chills.

i'm so glad i got you hooked into facebook and blogging! i look forward to reading your entries. this one made me laugh because it's so true - and also because i'm imagining you frantically trying to decided whether to swipe or wait, while you're leaning forward in your driver seat peering through a tiny clearing!
